What is a press release?
A press release is an announcement about your product or event that you send to magazine and newspaper editors. If they decide that your news will be interesting for their readers, they will publish an article about the new product in their periodicals. Those brief 300-word articles you see in magazines are your competitors' press releases. And they are printed there for free.
What types of mass media use press releases?
